Agustiniano Norte School (also called Colegio Agustiniano Norte, North Augustinian School) is a private, catholic, independent school for men, teaching students from grades kindergarten - 11, located in Bogota, Colombia. Their students and alumni call themselves "Agustinos” (in English Augustinians from Augustine of Hippo). The school is part of the 205 communities that make up the Order of Augustinian Recollects distributed in 19 countries: Spain (39), Brazil (28), Colombia (21), Mexico (18), United States (15), Philippines (14), Venezuela (14 ), Peru (9), Panama (8), Argentina (7), Costa Rica (6), United Kingdom (6), Dominican Republic (4), Guatemala (4), Italy (3), Taiwan (3) Chile (2), China (2) Sierra Leone (2). The school provides a comprehensive educational approach under the Roman Catholic principles. The high school seniors' performance on standardized national examinations has consistently been considered in the top tier, being ranked as "highly superior" by ICFES for the last 20 years, with many of their graduates having granted admission to the most prestigious universities in the country (e.g., National University of Colombia, University of the Andes, Pontifical Xavierian University, Our Lady of the Rosary University, and members of the Golden Triangle, among others).()() ==Agustiniano Norte in popular culture== In 1988, Evelio Rosero published his famous and award-winning book "El Incendiado" (The Burning Man).
